31. On 21/12/2007 at 12:45 hrs, acting on a secret information , a team of officers and men of Nadia DD (Krishnangar) held raid near Dhakuriapara and recovered Heroin from the possession of one Akhtar Ali Mondal and one Ashoke Tikadar . The CID team arrested both the accused persons. This refers to Ranaghat PS Case No. 774 dated 21.12.2007 u/s 17/18 NDPS Act.
32. On 12.12.2007 the officers and men of Nadia DD, assisted by Chakdah PS Police, arrested one Madan Biswas and seized about 125 kgs of Ganja and two motor cycles worth Rs. 3,92,800/-. This refers to Chakdah PS Case No. 572 dt 12.12.2007 u/s 20(B) NDPS Act.
34. Case Ref: Wazirgang (Lucknow) UP Case Cr no-547/07 dtd 23.11.07 u/s 115 / 120B / 121 / 121A / 122 / 124A / 307IPC , 16/18/20/23 Prevention of Unlawful activities Act and 3/4/5 Explosive Substance Act.
Activities- The gist of this case is that, on 23.11.07 in between 13.00 and 13.45 hrs, a serial explosions took place in the court premises of District Lucknow ,Varanasi and Faizabad area and in this incident 14 persons lost their lives.
During investigation of the case the complicity of one HUJImilitant namely AFTAB ALAM ANSARI @ RAJU @ MUKTAR S/o- Lt Abdul Aziz R/o-Golabajar .Naya Mahalla Master Colony P.S –Golabajar Dist-Gorokhpur /UP at present address- 95/1/2/H/3 Cossipore road P.S-Cossipur, (Kolkata Police) was transpired into the case. It was suspected that he planned the entire operation and supplied explosives to the persons who caused the explosions. On the reqisition of Special Task Force, Uttarpradesh on 28.12.07 at 14.05 hrs he was apprehended from B.T Road near Dunlope Bridge under P.S –Barahnagar Dist-North (24) Pgs by the officers of Special Operation Group and Highway crime cell CID WB and handed over to police of Special Task Force of Uttarpradesh Police.
Seizure :The alleged mobile of the accused was also recovered and seized by police in this case. The arrested suspect AFTAB ALAM ANSARI was produced in the Court of Ld. ACJM, Alipore on 29.12.2007 and was given five days transit remand for production before the Court of Ld. CJM, Lucknow on 02.01.2008 and compliance report is to sent to the court of Ld. ACJM, Alipore by 09.01.2008. He was later identified by co-accused Tarique Ali in Lucknow in police custody and AFTAB ALAM ANSARI confessed his involvement in this case
