On 7.1.17 officer and force of SOG Cell, CID, WB held raid at Gaighata PS area and arrested two persons namely Ranjit Debnath (33) s/o Sukumar Debnath of vill + PO Jawpur, PS Bongoan, District North 24 parganas and Raju Ghosh (37) s/o Biswanath Ghosh of vill Puratan Bongoan, PS Bongoan, North 24 parganas and also recovered 1135 pieces of Indian soft shell turtle with seized one Tata 107 mini truck. This refers to Gaighata PS case No. 24/17 dated 7.01.17 u/s 51 wild life protection Act
