On 18.10.2017 a team of CID, WB along with Suri PS intercepted on Moregram
Panagarh National Highway 60, near Abdarpur Railway crossing gate, under
PS Suri, Birbhum and arrested 02 persons namely (i) Somnath Bahadur Gurung
@ Samir (33) (ii) Rajib Majhi (29) and seized 23 no. of large nylon bags
containing 735 kgs of Poppy straw loaded in six wheeler vehicle having regn.
No. WB-93/1118 from their possession. This refers to Suri PS Case No. 429/17 dated 18.10.17 u/s 8(c) r/w section 15/29 NDPS Act
