On 27.04.23 afternoon hours in course of working out secret source information, a raid was conducted by the officers and men of SOG section of CID WB at Chandur More area under PS- Suti, Dist-Murshidabad (Jangipur PD). In course of such raid Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICN) having face value of Rs-94000/- (Ninety four thousand) in the denomination of Rs-500/- could be recovered from one person viz-- Md. Ohidul Islam (33) PS. Samserganj, Dist. Murshidabad who had come to the area for dealing with FICN. Accordingly, the said FICN along with other articles have been seized and the person has been arrested. On the strength of written complaint of SOG, Suti PS Case No- 211/23 dt-27.04.23 u/s 489B/489C/120B IPC has been registered.CID has taken up the investigation of the case.
